Bishop Josiah Muesha, founder of the Church of the Maasai, asked the Maasai to gather in Nairobi in April 2010. This Gathering, declaring Jesus Christ Lord over the Maasai, is one of the most significant events
in last two thousand years of Christian history. It marks the promise of
Restoration being fulfilled.
"I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house
of Joseph. I will bring them back, because I have mercy on them. They shall be as though I had not cast
them aside; For, I am the LORD their God, And I will hear them (Zechariah 10:6)."
Gathering
Not a huge number of Maasai, but a representation of from Burundi, Congo, Kenya, Somalia, Tanzania and
Uganda assembled from April 8th - April 13th. The occasion was also witnessed by representatives of the Kenya government and visitors from South Africa and the United States.

Bishop Josiah Muesha, recognized leader of the Maasai, presented the vision given to him by the Lord concerning the gathering. Bishop led his people the prayer of repentance, asking for God to restore
the land and leadership of the Maasai.
Dr. Tony Slay, CEO of Ministry International Inc., spoke especially to the MII graduate ministers and
their role in bringing change to Africa. Dr. Slay conducted a highly anointed service; a large portion of the crowd enthusiastically reported their healings. |
The keynote address to the gathering by International Bishop Leonard Heatherly on Sunday April 13th
delinated the history of Maasai from Sons of Joseph in Egypt to present day - proclaiming the Maasai take
take their place as a true Tribe of Israel and set the signal fire for worldwide restoration and revival.

Things Yet to Come
An ancient tradition of obedience will assure that Maasai throughout Eastern Africa will embrace their restoration and declaration. In comparison to their 2,600 years of isolation, it will be a matter of days until virtually all of the estimated 1 million Maasai will have unified in Spirit.
